This year’s Heart Saver Hero Award was presented to Dr. Marc Kutler, an Emergency Department physician with Northwestern Medical Center. Dr. Kutler spearheaded the CPR and AED program at The Edge. “Because of Marc’s passion and leadership, four lives have been saved at that facility that might otherwise have been lost to cardiac arrest, including today’s survivor speaker,” said Vermont AHA Board President Dr. Mary Cushman of Shelburne as she presented him the award.
