Shelburne All Stars battle for District I title

The Shelburne 9/10 Softball All-Star team made history this week at the District 1 Tournament in Bristol, Vt.  For the first time ever, all the players on the team were from Shelburne. Shelburne quilter awarded “Judge’s Choice” distinction at Vermont Quilt Festival

Hope Johnson of Shelburne was presented with the Judge’s Choice award for her quilt entitled “Mind Your Own Beeswax,” an original design showing the layers of the beehive.

This year’s Vermont Quilt Festival held last week at the Champlain Valley Expo featured more than 200 quilts, displaying the diverse talents of quilters from the United States, Canada, and abroad.
