Peter Gilbert, executive director of the Vermont Humanities Council and VPR commentator, will speak at Phoenix Books on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7 pm. He is the first of five WRP authors in a series that celebrates the mutual success of local authors, publishers, and Phoenix Books, an independent local bookseller. Peter Gilbert will speak about the contemplations presented in his new book, “I Was Thinking…Travels in the World of Ideas.”
