Shelburne student named outstanding Model UN delegate

Vermont Commons School sophomore Camille Bartsch, daughter of Margo and Adam Bartsch of Shelburne, was named the outstanding Model UN delegate at a recent conference held at Middlebury Union High School. Active in the school’s Model UN Club which has traveled across New England to participate in simulated conferences styled after the United Nations, Bartsch serves as a delegate on UN Committees and conducts research and formulates political opinions on key issues facing countries across the world. She was recognized for her work representing France. Vermont Commons is preparing to host a Model UN conference at the school in March.
