Softball Pitching Clinic: The Shelburne Little League Softball Committee will be holding free pitching clinics at the Shelburne Town Gym in January and February for softball player’s league ages 8 to 12. This will give players a chance for extra pitching practice and one-on-one instruction prior to the start of the 2014 season. A speed laser to determine each pitcher’s speed and add a little extra fun to the sessions will be used. Not a pitcher but love catching or want to try catching? Not a problem! We also welcome catchers at these clinics. Catchers will be suited up and asked to warm up the pitchers and then catch for them as they pitch from the mound. Due to space limitations, we can only have six pitchers at each time slot, so reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration is required! For sign-up instructions, contact Lisa O’Day at or 233-1577.
