Brangan aims to achieve Eagle Scout status with Dog Park project

June 2 T Eagle Scout Dog Park ShedShelburne Boy Scout Troop 602 Life Scout, Robby Brangan, is currently working towards his Eagle Scout requirements, which includes completing a project that will help the community. While in the early planning stages, it was suggested that Brangan consider a project for the Shelburne Dog Park. He thought it was a great idea and contacted the Dog Park Committee immediately. The committee requested a shed to store tools critical to the parks’ upkeep complete with an overhang to protect park goers from the elements.

Fundraising is a major part of the process, and as such Brangan needs to raise $1,000 to complete the project and become an Eagle Scout. Interested citizens are encouraged to make a donation to help construct the tool shed. Checks in any amount may be made out to Shelburne Troop 602 or to Robert Brangan, and mailed to: 393 Tracy Lane, Shelburne, VT 05482. Donors are asked to include “Dog Park” on the memo line.
