Triathlon Camp: This camp will run the week of June 25-29 from 9-4 pm for kids ages 9-15.  It will meet at Shelburne Beach with Director, Maria Cimonetti and the camp fee is $155.  The goal of this fun week will be to introduce children to the sport of triathlon in a fun, safe, and age appropriate environment. In providing this opportunity, we hope to support fitness awareness and healthy lifestyle habits including exercise and nutrition. All training will include games and activities promoting individual and group cooperation. All campers will take part in a triathlon race at the end of the camp session. We welcome kids of all ability and fitness levels. Beginners are especially encouraged to give it a try!

Rocket Science Camp: Learn how to build, test, and launch solid propellant rockets which safely return to earth. We will also build glider rockets, which launch like regular rockets but glide back to earth. Design, build, and launch rockets fueled by air and H20. Make and decorate high flying kites while learning about the aerodynamics of kites. Price includes: model rockets and all necessary building supplies including launch engines, kite, decorating materials, and string. Please bring a rinsed 2 liter soda bottle for the H20 rockets and your own lunch each day. Camp dates are June 25-29 from 9-3pm for kids entering grades 3-6.  The campers will meet in the Town Center Activity Room with Instructor will be Bob Gurwicz and the camp fee is $245. Limited space left!
Dog Park Grand Opening Celebration: Come join the fun to celebrate Shelburne’s new Dog Park on Saturday, June 9 from 11-2 pm at the Shelburne Community School. There will be Dog Park tours every 1/2 hour. A raffle drawing will take place at 2 pm with prizes from Vermont Teddy Bear, Ark Veterinary and more! Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash outside of the Park.  During the celebration, dogs must be part of a guided tour to enter the Park. Rain date will be Sunday, June 24.
Save the date for the 15th Annual Back to the Beach Night: Tuesday, June 19 with a rain date of Wednesday, June 20 from 6-8pm at Shelburne Beach. Be sure to mark your calendars for this community celebration and kick off to summer!
