Old friends honor restaurant pioneer, Tony Perry

Tony Perry and about 70 of the ‘original’ Perry Restaurant Group (former managers and supervisors) gathered at Splash in Burlington on June 2 for a celebration of the Vermont-based company. Perry initiated the first restaurant known as the Five Flys in Manchester in 1963. He then established the Perry Restaurant Group, which operated the well known restaurants – Sirloin Saloon, Sweetwaters, Perry’s Fish House and Dakota —for almost four decades.
