VNA announces new Adult Day Program Manager

Diane Olechna has been named the Visiting Nurse Association’s new Adult Day Program Manager. Olechna recently moved to Shelburne from Maryland, where she was the Director of Quality, Risk Management, and Educational Services at the Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland.
The VNA Adult Day Programs offer social settings for elders and adults with disabilities or other medical needs. In addition to meals, participants enjoy daily exercise, gardening, cooking, arts and crafts projects, singing, and interactive games. Olechna will oversee programs at locations in South Burlington, Williston, and Colchester.
“I have a passion in caring for clients who desire to be as independent and functional as possible. The three Adult Day Programs are designed for the client being served based on a social/medical model and the staff provides excellent programs every day to our clients,” Olechna said. “My impression of the VNA is that it is a quality health care organization providing exceptional care to our community. The VNA is family oriented, innovative, and supports an environment of caring and compassion.”
