Kerry O’Connor White, daughter of Bud and Alicia White of Burlington, and Douglas Clark Pierson III, son of Clark and Maura Pierson of Shelburne, were united in marriage June 23.
Greg Cluff, justice of the peace, officiated at the double-ring ceremony at All Souls Interfaith Gathering in Shelburne.
Katie White was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ally Kenworthy, Emily Mccarthy, Meaghan Mcfadden, Allison Freeman, Sarah Lesperance, Katie Mcfadden and Tricia Pierson. Flower girl was Alyson Lesperance.
Ming Poon was best man. Ushers were Andrew Nickerson, Elliot Diesenhaus, Mike Alcutt, and Bobby Velasquez. .
A reception followed the ceremony, after which the couple left for St. John Virgin Islands.
Mrs. Pierson graduated from Burlington High School and the University of Vermont with her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology; she is employed by St. Albans City School. Her husband graduated from Champlain Valley Union High School attended Endicott College with a degree in English and the University of Vermont with his Masters of Education and is a Special Educator at the Charlotte Central School. They reside in South Burlington.
