Nominations for Sports Hall of Fame due Aug. 1

The Vermont Sports Hall of Fame is seeking nominations for its inaugural class of outstanding Green Mountain athletes and sports contributors, but the public nominating period is drawing to a close.

The deadline for public nominations is Aug. 1.

In early September, the first class of athletes and contributors will be announced. Those selected representatives of Vermont’s sports culture will be inducted on Nov. 17.
