Debbie Ingram deserves consideration

Debbie Ingram is uniquely qualified to serve as one of the Senators from Chittenden County because of her extensive experience in business, government, and non-profit organizations. As a member of the Williston Selectboard, she is aware of the specific issues that confront the small communities that surround Burlington. As the Executive Director of Vermont Interfaith Action, she developed broad-based coalitions who continue to work with Burlington city officials and members of the legislature to address the systemic changes needed in affordable housing, health care, and transportation. As the owner of a film production company, she brings an awareness of the challenges faced by small businesses.
A graduate of Stanford University, Debbie completed a graduate fellowship at Cambridge University and also obtained a graduate degree in theology. Encouraged by the open attitudes and independent spirits of Vermont residents, she moved to the state 10 years ago. She has a passionate commitment to our cities and towns and suggests that our communities be judged by how well we care for and create supportive opportunities for all our residents.
Please take a moment to look at her website: www.ingramforsenate.com. If you do, you’ll understand why I will be voting for Debbie Ingram on the Democratic primary ballot on Aug. 28. I hope you will join me.
