Shelburne Charlotte Hinesburg Interfaith Projects (SCHIP) has awarded the Stern Center for Language and Learning a $5,000 grant to help provide scholarships to students from the communities of Shelburne, Charlotte, and Hinesburg.
“We are very appreciative of SCHIP’s recognition and support of our mission to help all learners reach their full potential. This grant will enable the Stern Center’s Scholarship Program, dependent on donor support such as this, to help more learners access Stern Center services,” commented Stern Center Development Director, Ed Wilkens.
SCHIP, an organization of local faith communities working together to raise funds for grants, generates funds from the sale of donated items to its SCHIP’s Treasure Resale Shop.
The Stern Center is a nonprofit learning center dedicated to helping children and adults reach their full potential. More information may be found at www.sterncenter.org.
