Shelburne News names Sheri Duff as editor
|August 8, 2012||Filled under Headlines, Our Town||
It is with great excitement and pride that I introduce myself as the new editor of the Shelburne News. As many of you are already aware I have been the Shelburne News sports editor for over four years and am the current editor of The Citizen, the weekly paper of Charlotte and Hinesburg.
When I first moved to Vermont, after graduating with a degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, I held the position of traffic manager for Kelliher Samets Volk, a Burlington advertising/communications firm and have worked at Wind Ridge Publishing since 2005.
There’s no doubt that I have big shoes to fill. Fortunately, Margo Callaghan has left me in good stead and trained me well. There are no plans for any significant changes at this time. The Shelburne News will continue to be your weekly source for sharing town news along with the insights and activities of this changing and vibrant community – from business to babies to baseball. We will continue to provide information that is of community interest to you, our readers, through this print publication, as well as through an array of online offerings, including Facebook, our website, and other digital products.
I will be out in the community and would love to hear from you. Please drop me an email, give me a call, or stop by our office at 233 Falls Road in Shelburne and let me know how we are doing. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible!
Sheri can be reached at (802) 985-3091 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
