Cultivating a spiritual dimension in the lives of our youth

The steeple at the Charlotte Congregational Church was replaced on Tuesday, Aug. 14.

Starting in September, a year-long confirmation class for youth over 13 will be held at the Charlotte Congregational Church, UCC with the Rev.Will Burhans and ecologist Susan Moegenburg.

Youth will learn the relevance of Christianity in their lives today, engage in both ancient and contemporary spiritual practices, explore Christianity’s relation to other religious traditions of the world, think critically about issues of religion and the environment, and participate in a culminating pilgrimage/mission trip.
