Check out a Museum pass at your library. Don’t forget that the Pierson Library has many museum passes available to Shelburne card holders. Visit a museum during these last weeks of August or during the sunny beautiful days of September. Our passes are available thanks to the generosity of the Pierson Library Friends Board. If you have not used one of our passes before, here is a summary of currently available passes and the specifics of each, along with their web addresses. Please feel free to ask any library staff person for help if you have questions about our museum passes, or call the library at 985-5124.
ECHO Museum: A card pass, available for a one-day check out. We recommend that patrons call ahead to reserve this pass. The pass is good for up to 2 adults and 3 children. You will be charged $4 per person for admission. www.echovermont.org
Shelburne Museum: Back this year by popular demand. This card pass checks out for one day and admits 2 adults and all children in the family under 18. This pass may be reserved in advance. www.shelburnemuseum.org
Vermont Historical Society Museum: A card pass, available for a one day check out. It is good for two adults and all children under 18. www.vermonthistory.org
Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium: This is a card pass. It is good for 2 adults and all the children of the family. This is also a three-day pass. www.firbanksmuseum.org
St. Johnsbury Athenaeum Public Library & Art Gallery: This is another three-day card pass. It can be used for 2 adults and all the children in the family. www.stjathenaum.org
Fleming Museum: This is a paper pass. One card admits up to four people. Children under 6 are free. It can be used at any time during the museum season. http://www.flemingmuseum.org
Rokeby Museum: A card pass, available for a one day check out. It is good for 2 adults and their children. www.rokeby.org
Henry Sheldon Museum: This is a card pass. The pass admits up to 4 people and can be used anytime during the museum season. It is available for a one-day check out. www.henrysheldonmuseum.org
Vermont Historical Sites: A card pass, available for a one day check out. It is good for day trips only and admits up to 8 people. Good for all of the historical sites in Vermont. www.historicvermont.org
Birds of Vermont Museum: A card pass, available for a one day check out. It gives free admission for 2 adults and all children in the family. www.birdsofvermont.org
Maritime Museum: This is a card pass. It is good for 2 adults and all of their children or grandchildren, 17 years and under. It is available for one day. wwwlcmm.org
Ethan Allen Homestead: This is a paper pass. One pass is good for 2 adults and their children. www.ethanallenhomestead.org
Vermont State Parks: A card pass, available for a one day check out. It is good for day trips only, not for overnight camping. We also recommend that you phone to reserve this pass. This pass admits up to 8 people in one vehicle and is good for all of the state parks. www.vtstsateparks.com

The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art: This museum is located in Amherst, Mass. The card pass will be available for a three-day check out and will admit two adults and up to four children. www.carlemuseum.org
The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston: Each pass will provide admission for up to two adults for $10. Children 6 and under are free. Youths 7 to 17 will be free weekdays after 3 pm and on weekends; otherwise admission will be $10. Other details for this card pass will be available soon. www.mfa.org
