Shelburne Museum’s annual day devoted to dogs drew over 4,700 people and 1,400 of their four-logged friends to the museum Sunday, Sept 16. “Shelburne Museum Goes to the Dogs!” co-hosted by Pet Food Warehouse, featured demonstrations of police dogs, hunting dogs, disc-catching dogs and dancing dogs along with a costume parade. Not to mention the DockDogs in its first ever appearance at the annual event. Rescue groups and vendors of dog-related products were also on hand. This year’s theme was the Pawlympics. The event raised over $3,300 for animal welfare and rescue groups.
