Book proceeds help end seasonal hunger for coffee-farming families

Wind Ridge Publishing, Food 4 Farmers, and the authors of “Brewing Change, Behind the Bean at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters” celebrated the book’s recent release and first charitable donation last Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Waterbury Farmers Market and book signing. Publisher Holly Johnson presents the first check from book sale proceeds to Food 4 Farmers co-founders Marcela Pino and Janice Nadworny. One hundred percent of the authors’ earnings and 10 percent of Wind Ridge Publishing’s net profits will benefit Food 4 Farmers. The non-profit organization’s mission is to help rural coffee-farming families build lasting solutions to seasonal hunger.
