Resident shoots hole-in-one

Shelburne resident Tom Rugg shot a hole-in-one at Rocky Ridge Golf Club during the 12th Annual Christ the King School (CKS) Golf Tournament Friday, Sept. 14.  Above, Rugg posed with his foursome from left to right: Jon Averill (CKS alum), Tom Rugg, Ed Kent, and UVM hockey coach Kevin Sneddon. Rugg’s hole-in-one was on the 17th hole and he used a 7 iron.  Those who participated in the tournament, which raised $12,000, appreciated his generosity in the clubhouse afterwards.
