At a brief meeting on Oct. 3, the Development Review Board (DRB) gave design review approval for a free-standing sign in front of the Shelburne News office at 233 Falls Road. Five cross bars, reading from top to bottom as Wind Ridge Publishing, the Shelburne News, The Citizen, Destination Vermont, and Writers’ Barn will be attached to a single post. The wooden sign will be painted white with blue lettering.
In other business, the DRB formally adopted specific language relating to decisions it previously issued for four projects, including setting forth specific conditions for the development of Lilly Creek Lane off Webster Road.
Prior to the its formal meeting, DRB members visited the site at 75 Northside Drive, off Executive Drive, where James Bahrenburg has applied for Sketch Plan approval for adding five single- family homes and two duplexes on the property in addition to the two duplexes previously approved at this location. No action on the Sketch Plan was taken at the meeting.
The next meeting of the Development Review Board will be held on Wednesday, Oct.17 at 7 pm in the Municipal Center.
