Bolton Valley After School Ski & Snowboard Program Registration: Registration is now open to 7th and 8th graders. The 2nd Registration for 5th and 6th graders will be on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 am for any remaining spots left on the bus. If you are unable to drop off your registration in person, please feel free to send in your completed registration form and payment with a friend or neighbor. Early registrations will not be given priority. This program has a limited number of seats on the bus and may fill before the deadline. Don’t wait until December to sign up or you may “miss the Bus!” Registrations for lift tickets, lessons, and equipment rentals will be accepted even after the bus is full and through Dec. 14. Sorry, no refunds will be given after the registration deadline of Dec. 14. Call the recreation office for more details. Chaperones are needed! Volunteer to chaperone for this program and ski for free on the night you volunteer! If each family chaperoned once per session we would have a successful season. Please check the box on the registration form if interested or contact the Rec. Dept. to sign up. All chaperones will be required to have a background check in accordance with the Town’s policy.
Youth Basketball Registration: This program is open to kids in grades 1-8. It will run from Dec. 8 to Feb. 16, 2013. Co-ed 1st and 2nd grade teams will practice and scrimmage on Saturday mornings. Grades 3-8 will have separate girls and boys teams that practice one night a week with games on Saturday mornings against other Town’s Recreation teams both in and out of Shelburne. Registration fee is $36 and includes a t-shirt to keep. Registration deadline is Nov. 21. Volunteer coaches are needed! Contact the Rec. Office for more information or to sign up.
