Come out to Shelburne’s Holiday Stroll Friday evening, Nov. 30
|November 14, 2012||Filled under Our Town||
Parents and children alike can speak (or sing) to the magical tradition of the Shelburne Holiday Stroll. Carols, tree lighting, the S.D. Ireland truck, and Santa Claus all make the magic of Christmas come alive in Shelburne Friday evening, Nov. 30, on the Village Green. The night kicks off at 5:45 pm with the singing of holiday songs. Following the singers, the crowd joins in the caroling, followed by the grand tree lighting at 6 pm sharp.
The Holiday Stroll is the perfect opportunity to Shop Shelburne and to take part in the fun activities going on around town. After the tree lighting, children will have the opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him their wishes in the Town Hall. The Shelburne News will take photos of the children and Santa together, if wished. Fun abounds at the Shelburne Holiday Stroll, so don’t miss out.
