It is a quintessential New England event: the Christmas bazaar. Shelburne’s own will be held Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Methodist Church on the corner of Rt. 7 and Church Street. Local crafters have rented tables to display their wares: jewelry, note cards, candles, and other holiday items will be for sale. There also is a homemade baked goods table laden with holiday treats baked by the members of the church’s congregation. Additionally, there will be a silent auction of items donated by crafters. The bazaar runs from 9 am to 2 pm.
This year’s luncheon will be served between 11 am and 1:30 pm and will feature hearty soup, oyster crackers, a half sandwich, and a beverage.
There are a few crafters’ tables still available to rent. All those interested displaying their wares at the bazaar can contact the church office at 985-3981.
