Attention high school juniors and seniors

Like writing? Like speaking? The Shelburne Lions’ Club and Lions’ Club International is sponsoring a speech contest on the topic of “In a World of Service.” Speeches must be 5-7 minutes. Cash prizes of $25-$75 will be awarded for a local win, and up to $300 for a win at the state level. Interested speech writers must register by Friday, Dec. 7 by email to madjones66@mac.com.
