Gregory S. Clark, 65, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in Porter Medical Center in Middlebury. He was born July 19, 1947, in Burlington, the son of Allen and Shirley (Haven) Clark. He was a teacher at Mt. Abraham Union High School, and served five terms in the Vermont Legislature. He was also a member of the Vergennes Congregational Church, Dorchester Lodge #1 F&AM in Vergennes, and Addison County Eagles Club in Vergennes. Greg is survived by his precious family, which include his wife, Eileen Clark of Vergennes; two children, Gretchen Beaudin and husband, Scott, of South Burlington, and Aaron Clark and wife, Tanya, of Ormond Beach, Fla.; other daughter, Laura Wainer and husband, Jason, of Shelburne; seven grandchildren, Rachael, Canyon, Roman, Ashton, Gracie, Bradley and Alexandra; sister, Margo Clark and partner, David; niece, Elizabeth Richmond and her son, Jamison; nephew, Ben Richmond; sister-in-law, Linda and husband, Maurice, of NYC, N.Y., and their children, Lisa and Donna; extended family, friends, colleagues, and his many beloved students.
