CVU soccer players receive recognition

Six Champlain Valley Union soccer players were named to Burlington Free Press first team.
First Team
Kate Raszka, senior midfielder; Taylor Goldsborough, senior midfielder; Lily Harris, senior goalie; Shane Haley, senior, forward; Noah Lieberman, senior, midfielder; and Zack Evans, junior, back.
Second Team
Abby Eddy and Joe Castano of Champlain Valley Union were named to the Burlington Free Press Second Team.
Honorable Mention
CVU’s Kaelyn Kohlasch was a Burlington Free Press Honorable Mention.
Coaches’ All-State Team
CVU soccer players Abby Eddy, Taylor Goldsborough, Lily Harris, Kaelyn Kolasch, Kate Raszka, Zack Evans, Shane Haley, and Noah Lieberman were named to the VSCA All-State Team.
All-League Teams
Metro Division First Team
Athletes from Champlain Valley Union named to the Metro Division First Team were Abby Eddy, Taylor Goldsborough, Lily Harris, Kate Raszka, Zach Evans, Shane Haley, and Noah Lieberman.
Metro Division Second Team
CVU’s Kaelyn Kolasch and Joe Costano were named to the Metro Division Second Team.

Redhawks Roshi Brooklyn and Aiden Shumway were Metro Division Honorable Mentions.
