UVM hosts watercolor exhibit

The University of Vermont Dudley H. Davis Center will host a Vermont Watercolor Society exhibit of watercolor and mixed media titled “Watercolor Gone Wild” from Dec. 10 to Jan. 13, 2013 in the Davis Center Livak Fireplace Lounge & Gallery.
The public is invited to an opening reception on Wednesday, Dec. 12 from 5-7 pm at the Davis Center, 590 Main Street in Burlington. Admission to the gallery is free. Hinesburg artist Tony Pezzimenti and Shelburne artists Sally Hughs, Patrick Kennedy, Dawn Keough-Schmidt, and Zita Lee will be on hand for the opening reception.
The Vermont Watercolor Society, a nonprofit organization founded in 1995, is dedicated to promoting the awareness and appreciation of watercolor to its membership at all levels of ability and to the community by providing opportunities and venues for participation, education, fellowship, and exhibitions.
