“Entering the Light,” the 24” x 36” abstract painting by Shelburne artist Ché Schreiner is on display in the Burlington Town Center this holiday season.
Shelburne artist Che Schreiner’s work is influenced by her relationship with nature and her travels. Whether in Nepal, Egypt, Japan, the Amazon or her own backyard, Schreiner is deeply inspired to create. The impetus for her artistry was the gift of a simple wooden box of paint brushes from her father in 2004. Afterward, Schreiner started to cultivate her passion for painting. The product is a collection of textured and meditative pieces including a 12 foot ‘Dancing Buddha’, a 10 foot ‘Sahara Sunset,’ and seven other large paintings. All can be viewed on the second floor of the Burlington Town Center. So if you’re strolling down Church Street, take a moment and step into the town center to be inspired by large, meditative paintings that will wake up the artist in you. Schreiner’s paintings will be displayed through mid-January.
