Open youth baseball program begins in January

An open youth baseball program begins on Sunday, Jan. 6 at The Field House in Shelburne. This program is open to any youth baseball player between the ages of 9 and 12. The baseball program will have field house space from 10 am to 12 pm every Sunday until spring. No prior sign-up required. Simply arrive before 10 am, sign up, and play baseball! Pitching mounds, batting cages, and field facilities will be available. If enough players show up on a weekly basis that would allow for a 30-minute hitting, fielding, and throwing warm-up, followed by a full six inning game. Again, the program is open to all! The cost is $15 per player and is payable once participants arrive. There is no long-term commitment and the cost is very reasonable.
