The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has scheduled its fourth annual National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day for this Saturday, April 28, from 10 am-2 pm. This is a great opportunity for people to dispose of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
At the previous Drug Take-Back Day last October, 377,086 pounds (188.5 tons) of unwanted or expired medications were collected for safe and proper disposal at the 5,327 take-back sites that were available across the country.
