Tai Chi is a fun, joint-safe activity that’s becoming hugely popular in Vermont. Champlain Valley Agency on Aging (CVAA) provides beginner courses for seniors and grad classes for those who have completed beginners. Certified trainers break it down using easy, step-by-step instruction. Backed by The Arthritis Foundation and the Center for Chronic Disease (CDC), this evidence-based arthritis health program reduces stiffness and pain and keeps joints mobile. Tai Chi can also reduce falls, improve balance, muscle stamina, concentration, and memory. It’s a great activity for anyone.
