The Shelburne Community School is now accepting names for a random drawing for community peers for the 2013/2014 school year. The Shelburne Community Preschool Program is designed as an inclusive setting for children three to five years old from the Shelburne community. Approximately 50 percent of the children are typically developing, and 50 percent receive individualized support for a special need. It is staffed with an early childhood special educator, speech-language pathologist, and a classroom assistant. Community peers must be three years old but not five years old by Sept. 1 and display age appropriate social, language, and behavioral skills. To have your child’s name included in the lottery, please call Ketura Rich at 383-1136 or email email@example.com and leave your name, your child’s name, date of birth, address, phone number, and email. The drawing will take place Jan. 31.
