Stop waiting for the day when taking that perfect photo will just “click” and join Vermont’s most published photographer, Paul O. Boisvert, for an evening seminar on taking the perfect photograph. Boisvert will share insight into the art of composition, natural and artificial lighting, technique, and technical details such as shutter speeds and f-stops. Come learn about the complex art of photography from a local professional on Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 6-8 pm.
Boisvert was born and raised on Shelburne Farms and resides in Shelburne to this day. The city’s golden boy has been infatuated with photography from the time his father gave him a Hero Imperial 120 camera at eight years old. His cultivation of his craft has led to success in freelance work for publications like The New York Times, Vermont Life, SKI, Vermont Magazine, andBest of Burlington Magazine. Boisvert is acclaimed as one of Vermont’s most highly regarded photographers.
His most recently published book “Burlington~ A Sense of Place”is a stunning visual tour through the four seasons in our nearby, beloved city. The idyllic scenes whisper memories of the city.
