SCS hosts special parenting presentation Feb. 7

Margo Austin

Margo Austin will give a presentation on “Effective Parenting Strategies for the Middle School Years” on Thursday morning, Feb. 7 in the Shelburne Community School Library from 7:30-8:30 am. Austin is a Student Assistance Program Counselor for the middle school and the LEAD co-advisor. She is also a licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.  Austin is a wonderfully dynamic speaker and has absolutely ‘wowed’ SCS audiences in the past.

She will help us with a road map for the most important skills children need to make life-long healthy choices. Her presentation is geared toward parents of children in grades four through high school.

This free discussion will be at 7:30-8:30 am in the SCS Library. The PTO will provide coffee and a light breakfast.
