Penny Cluse Café in downtown Burlington will host an art exhibit to benefit Helping and Nurturing Diverse Seniors (HANDS). Approximately 80 decorated wooden hands will adorn the walls for the month of February and a silent auction will take place on Friday, March 1 from 5:30-7:30 pm as part of the First Friday Art Walk. “Bids can also be taken throughout the month right at Penny Cluse,” explained organizer Megan Humphrey. “We have artists from ages eight to 80, so we’re really pleased with the breadth of the show,” she continued.
HANDS works to close the gap in getting food to older Vermonters. For more information, visit www.handsvt.org or www.facebook.com/events/469105419820257.
