Plan to attend a book discussion and Asian-themed dinner on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 6 pm at The Lodge at Shelburne Bay Dining Room. The featured presenter Linda Furiya is an author, food writer, cooking instructor, and owner of Yum Dragon Frozen Dumplings. She has written two food memoirs and for 10 years, wrote a food column on Japanese and Chinese cuisine for San Francisco Chronicle’s award-winning food section.  Enjoy Linda’s dumplings and discuss her latest book, “Bento Box In The Heartland: My Japanese Girlhood Growing Up In Whitebread America.”
