Jarecki will explore the history, principles, and aims of yoga practice, as well as some of the common misconceptions. She has been a student of yoga for many years and has received her 200 hour YT certification from Sofi Dillof and Emily Garrett of Laughing River Yoga. Through sharing her compassion, knowledge, love, and playful good humor, Jarecki aims to teach safe, engaging, inspiring yoga, that encourage students on and off the mat, to approach thoughts and actions from a place of understanding, community, and kindness. Participants are encouraged to wear something comfortable for sitting and light stretching and to bring a mat, blanket, or towel. Poses may be demonstrated, although the workshop is more of a discussion and meditation session.
