CVU Wins Vermont LifeSmarts Championship


Five students from Champlain Valley Union High School (CVU) won the fourth Annual Vermont LifeSmarts state competition on Feb. 7 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel and Conference Center in Montpelier. The team, CVU FBLA, included Captain Chris Petrillo, Graham Hulvey, Roshi Brooklyn, Sam Giles, and Devon Cantor. As state champions, they will represent Vermont in the national LifeSmarts competition April 20-23 in Atlanta, competing against teams from across the United States. Coached by teachers Tamie-Jo Dickinson and Colleen Wedge, this is the third year CVU has won Vermont LifeSmarts.
