Finn for School Board Director

It has been a privilege to serve Shelburne as a School Board Director for the last three years. As my name will be on the ballot for another three year term, I would like to thank every one of you for your support. Having served as Clerk, Vice Chair, and on the Supervisory Union Board, I have developed a deep appreciation for the dedication of our Community School and CSSU professionals, administration, and staff. Much has been learned about how we provide a high quality education for every young person and, while there is always room for improvement, we have many accomplishments to celebrate and the future looks promising.
We are fortunate to live in a community whose residents generously support our schools with funds and, equally important, their time. Our PTO, parents and coaches, volunteers, mentors, and leaders all enrich the educational experience of our children, inspiring them and providing examples and role models.
Because there must be more than one side to every issue, it is seldom possible to please everyone. However, I assure you that I will keep an open mind and strive to appreciate the value in every opinion and position. Thank you for your support of our schools, our community, and, most of all, our children. Please vote on March 5.
Robert Finn, Shelburne
