Bill Smith for re-election

We are writing in support of the re-election of Bill Smith to the Selectboard. While on the Selectboard, Bill’s goal has always been to consider all sides of the issues and make decisions based on what is in the best interest of our town and its residents. This is not an easy task, as most issues are not as straightforward as they often appear, and each is accompanied by reasoned and thoughtful arguments. We know Bill to be calm, focused, and realistic. He listens carefully and gives everyone interested time to present their viewpoints, recognizing that there are valid opinions on all sides. Shelburne benefits from the experience Bill’s gained while serving on the Selectboard and through the leadership skills he’s honed as part of senior management at New England Federal Credit Union. Bill’s only agenda is to do what’s best for Shelburne, while remaining realistic to financial and other constraints. Please join us in re-electing Bill Smith to the Selectboard.
