The Shelburne Players offer theater camp this summer

Shelburne resident Sëan Moran, recently back from the west coast, will direct Shelburne Players Summer Musical Theater Camp July 29 through Aug. 3. Moran has made a career of acting, directing and writing, and lived and worked in the Los Angeles area for many years. As Resident Director for Los Primeros Educational Foundation, of Camarillo, Calif. from 2005-2012, Moran’s directing credits included the musical productions “Oliver,” “Grease,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Guys and Dolls,” and “Annie.” He has also had acting roles in television, including “West Wing,” “ER,” “3rd Rock from the Sun,” and in motion pictures such as “Grease,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” and “Corrina, Corrina” among other credits.
Shelburne Players, in cooperation with the Shelburne Recreation Department, is thrilled to be able to have Moran join them this summer to direct area youth in their annual theater camp beginning Monday, July 29. At week’s end, Saturday, Aug 3, a free performance of a short musical will be performed for family, friends, and community members in the Shelburne Town Center gym. The one week camp is open to all children aged 9-14 and no previous stage experience is necessary, but space is limited.
