Shelburne cellist to perform at HAS concert March 17

Champlain Valley Union senior and Shelburne resident Noah Marconi will be a guest soloist for the Hinesburg Artist Series (HAS) 17th Anniversary Concert on Sunday, March 17 at St. Jude Church in Hinesburg. Marconi is the co-principal cello for the Vermont Youth Orchestra.

The concert will feature the South County Chorus and the HAS Orchestra under the direction of Rufus Patrick performing the “Faure Requiem,” “Nella Fantasia,” “Song of Peace,” “St. Patrick’s Hymn,” and a “Suite of Spirituals” arranged by Mark Hayes.

Marconi will perform an F.A. Kummer cello duet with Michael Danielski. Danielski was a member of the Vermont Youth Orchestra from1984-1988. Other guest soloists include renowned harpist Grace Cloutier, violist Tatiana Trono, soprano Amy Frostman, alto Amy Patrick, and baritone Gary Moreau. The concert will be at St. Jude Church in Hinesburg Sunday, March 17 at 4:30 pm. Tickets are $15 and $10 available at Brown Dog Books in Hinesburg or at the door.
