For the fourth year in a row, associates of the local Rite Aid in Shelburne Shopping Park are baking up a storm for their annual fundraiser this Saturday, March 30 from 10 am-3 pm. In addition to desserts and smaller goodies to eat on the spot, Rite Aid employee Joya Lawyer will take specialty cake pre-orders for Easter dinner, a special occasion, or just for fun. To pre-order a dessert, call her at 985-2610.

During the bake sale Rite Aid will offer $2 hot dogs with Michigan sauce, chili, or plain naked dogs provided by the Shelburne Supermarket and $5 pulled pork sandwiches compliments of the Dutch Mill Restaurant. Stop by for lunch, or a snack and make sure to sign up to win raffle prizes donated by many local businesses including Aubuchon’s, Shelburne Supermarket, Danform, Archie’s Grill, La Villa, The Flying Pig, Jamie Two Coats, Cucina Antica, Barkeaters, Shelburne Country Store, In Full Bloom, Jiffy, and Marcos, just to name a few.  Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Raffle winners will be drawn on May 12.

Rite Aid will accept donations for this worthy cause until May 11. Community members are urged to stop by and donate. And don’t forget to say “hi” to the Shelburne Rite Aid team Joya, Alice, John, Allison, Michele, Paula, Rachel, and pharmacy team Kate, Kathleen, Hooda, and Hillary. All proceeds from the bake sale and the raffle benefit the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
