Locals win CSWD Creative ReUse Showcase Awards

The 17th Annual CSWD Creative ReUse Showcase Awards Bash honored two local artists on Thursday, March 28 at Frog Hollow State Craft Center Gallery in Burlington. Champlain Valley Union high school students Olivia Hern of Shelburne and Rose Watts of Hinesburg won their respective categories 3-D Awesome Art and Fabulous Fashion. Hern and Watts, advised by Visual Art teacher Emily McLean and Family and Consumer Science teacher Eleanor Marsh respectively, each won a $100 gift card for their entries. 

“Everyone looks forward to the ReUse Showcase,” says Rob Hunter, Frog Hollow Gallery Director. “The level of work that these students are producing is great for us to have here.”
