Vermont’s civic and business leaders will join the Alzheimer’s Association in honoring Scott D. Carpenter at the 2013 Reason to Hope Dinner on Tuesday, April 30. The fourth annual event will be chaired by Dan Feeney, president of North Star Leasing and co-owner of Armistead Caregiver Services and Lesli Blount, director of corporate support for VPR. David Coates will serve as the event’s honorary chair.
“Scott’s leadership in building business and non-profit partnerships has allowed our community to thrive,” said Dan Feeney, event co-chair. “Over his 22-year career at KeyBank, he instilled a commitment to community service by encouraging and celebrating employee volunteerism with dozens of worthy organizations in our region.”
In recognition of Carpenter’s community leadership, Armistead Caregiver Services has signed on as a Platinum Sponsor. Joining them as early bird table sponsors are the Arbors at Shelburne, BlueCross BlueShield of Vermont, KeyBank, the Coates Family, Green Mountain Power, Home Instead Senior Care, the Seaver Family, Bayada Hospice, Good Health and Fitness Options, the Center on Aging, Sopher Investments, Twincraft, Symquest, and the Burlington Free Press.
The Reason to Hope Dinner supports the Alzheimer’s Association, Vermont Chapter’s efforts to provide support, care, and resources to the more than 11,000 individuals and their families from across the state currently living with Alzheimer’s disease.
