Junior Intro to Golf: Grades 1-5. Learn the fundamentals of a game that can be played for a lifetime. Clubs provided for those who need them. Location: Kwiniaska Golf Practice Center. $70, instructed by Mike Bailey, PGA Professional. Session I: Tuesdays May 7-June 4,  Session II: June 11-July 16.

Adult Intro to Golf: Basic intro to golf for beginning adults or long time players wishing to improve fundamentals. Instruction on all aspects of the long and short game. Clubs will be provided if needed. Two sessions offered, both running from 5-6 pm, Thursdays, June 13-July 18 (no class 7/4). Location: Kwiniaska Golf Practice Center. $90, instructed by Mike Bailey, PGA Professional.Boater safety course: Offered by the Vermont State Police and is REQUIRED by Vermont law for all power boat operators on Vermont waters who were born after January 1, 1974. Instruction will include boat handling, navigation and safety requirements. Recommended for anyone 12 years and older. Participants MUST attend all four dates listed! Space is limited & preregistration is required. Tuesdays and Thursdays, May 7, 9, 14, and 16 from 6-8pm. $10.

Fall Soccer registration deadline is Friday, May 24: Please use the separate registration form for the Fall Soccer program (pick up at office or print from our web site). Complete one form per child. Children entering grades 1-8  in Sept. eligible. Uniform shirts and shin guards  required.

BikeFest 2013! Third annual BikeFest on May 25th at the front entrance of the Shelburne Town Hall.  Free bike tune-ups, helmet and bike fittings along with helmet decorating or obtaining a new helmet for a small donation. New this year will be a Spring Community Ride supported by Local Motion and led by Police Office, Josh Flore at 1 pm.  Pre-registration is encouraged and the first 35 registered who complete the two-mile ride will get a BikeFest t-shirt! Register with the Recreation Department at 985-9551.
