This isn’t Smart Growth, it’s greed

When the Selectboard promotes the interests of a single developer over those of taxpaying rural residents, and appoints a Natural Resource Committee that confuses urban zoning with “Smart Growth,” it’s time to consider new management. New people in office that will have this towns well-being and interest at heart, not just one developer who is going to make a financial killing off the taxpayer’s backs. Our Selectboard needs to follow our Town Plan and simply say “NO,” when a developer wants to change our Town Plan to suit his or her interest.
