Pop over to Burlington for a wine and cheese reception on Saturday, June 8 from 7 to 9 pm at Julian Cardinal’s new Fine Art Studio. The artist will exhibit his new paintings: dreamy figures, flowers, and nudes. Guests will enjoy Cardinal’s bold use of color and contemporary style, as well as the opportunity to mingle with fellow art lovers.
Cardinal began drawing from the figure during his freshman year at the University of Vermont (UVM). In the spring of 2011, he graduated from UVM, where he majored in English and minored in studio art. Cardinal has been inspired by artists Michael Davis, Cynthia Packard, and Anne Packard, as well as his father, Robert Cardinal.
The Julian Cardinal Fine Art Studio is located at 180 Flynn Ave in Burlington. For more information, call (508) 237-0651 or visit www.juliancardinal.com.
