Local opens Pop Up Store to benefit juvenile diabetes

Shelburne resident Joanne Palmisano will open a Pop Up store in the Tenneybrook Square Shopping Center Tuesday, June 4 from 3-7 pm, Wednesday, June 5 from 2-6 pm, and will demonstrate how to make a vintage sign on Friday, June 14 from 6-7 pm all in the name of Juvenile Diabetes. Palmisano’s efforts will go towards her daughter’s 100K bike ride in support of those she knows with diabetes.

The Pop Up store features vintage goods, antiques, repurposed projects, and unique second-hand finds. The first 25 customers each day will receive a free copy of Palmisano’s book “Camps, Cottages and Cabins.” Please note there is no credit card processing available. A maximum of 30 people may register for the vintage sign demonstration on June 14 for a fee of $10. Refreshments will also be available for purchase.
