The tennis duo of Champlain Valley Union athletes Claire Stoner and Leah Epstein, both Shelburne residents, claimed the crown in the Vermont high school individual girls tennis state doubles tournament in Berlin on Saturday, May 25.

Stoner and Epstein posted wins over two South Burlington teams, including the second seeded pairing of Linley Shaw and Jasmina Jusufagic, in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1.
